A Bit About Me
Education and Experience
I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology, driven by a fascination with the complexity of human nature and behavior. After rediscovering my love for reading, writing, and the act of storytelling across different mediums, I am working on a master’s in English and Creative Writing with an emphasis in fiction. Professionally, I wrote daily news blog articles for DrivingSales, an automobile dealership HCM, longer pieces about studies on consumer trust, and conducted interviews and write-ups with industry professionals. As for passion projects, I love love love writing short stories, personal essays, and poetry.
Other Hobbies and Interests
Beyond writing, I love to read (some of my favorite books include Into the Wild, Lisey’s Story, The Devil All the Time, and In Cold Blood). I’ve dabbled in embroidery and clothes making, and recently decided to give knitting a try. Otherwise, you can find me doing digital illustration, landscape photography, hiking, or gaming.
Personal
Born in Colorado, I spent most of my childhood moving around. In the meantime, I’m enjoying the wonderful city of Portland, Oregon, where as a mountain girl I love being so close to nature and the thick forests, and I’ve absolutely fallen in love with the Oregon coast.
